| If you are a keen archaeologist, then West Penwith is going to keep you fully occupied. It has many fine standing stones and stone circles, hill top quoits, and an excavated stone age village at Chysauster. Discover hilltop castles like Chun, in Morvah parish, and Bosigran stone- age fortified promontory, (in view from the cottage). Treen castle with it's famous Logan rock, is only a short drive beyond Boscawen Noon, another famous stone circle in St. Buryan parish, which is also home to the Merry Maidens and their Piper. The list is almost endless, but many sites like Mel-an-tol, the quoits at Lanyon, Mulfra, and Chun, with its Castle, are all within easily walking distance from Rosemergy Barn. | ||
